Artist statement
Suzanne McCrave is an Australian artist whose intuitive, mixed-media paintings are deeply informed by time spent in nature. Working from bushland sketches and sensory impressions, she builds layered compositions that evoke the essence of landscape rather than depict it. Suzanne holds a degree in Visual Arts and is currently preparing to undertake a Master of Fine Arts in 2026. Her work explores themes of presence, transformation, and the quiet resonance of place.
